Day Cream Raspberry & Carrot seed - 'Framboise'

This is a superbly nourishing, moisturising and anti-aging Day Cream containing botanicals with a reputation for strengthening the skin against sun damage. Wonderful for ALL SKIN types. Also particularly beneficial to oily/acne prone due to the acne curbing effects of Raspberry seed oil (this is due to its high ellagic acid content) - in a choice of either a glass jar or aluminium tin. This cream has a high concentration of Raspberry seed oil which is known for its UV ray protecting properties.  

In a 50 gram glass jar.  Also comes in a 50 gram lightweight tin.

Organic Aloe Vera juice - a highly moisturising ingredient due to its polysaccharides and is a valuable ingredient in many of our products.  It stimulates cell replication, promotes collagen and elastin while deeply hydrating, soothing and toning the skin.  

Organically grown Shea Butter - we use unrefined Shea Butter, organically grown and hand crafted in Ghana.  Because it is unrefined, you can be confident it still has its abundance of vitamins, minerals, proteins and fatty acids unique to Shea.  It is known to have some degree of natural sunscreen properties, to restore the skin's natural elasticity and to be exceptionally healing.  In addition, it is a superior moisturiser, allowing the skin to stay moisturised longer.  

Raspberry seed oil (Cold pressed, virgin) - we have generously added this wonderful oil for its rich content in omega 3 and 6 fatty acids as well as for its reputation for having a significant level of sun protecting properties.  You can read about research on this conducted at the Food Research Program in Canada.  It is also the richest source of ellagic acid, a phenolic compound with known anti-carcinoma properties.  

Organic Manuka Honey - an exclusive honey from the wild bushlands of New Zealand with exceptional moisturising, healing and anti-oxidant properties (protecting the skin from free radicals) while helping to maintain the skin's collagen. Manuka honey is a vital and valuable anti-aging ingredient in our products, making them uniquely different.  

Natural Vitamin E - an extra dose of Vitamin E from non-GMO soya beans increases the integrity of skin cells and their resilience against free radicals and UV rays, while also acting as a natural anti-oxidant to preserve the life of the oils in our products.

Organic Calendula oil - for healing, softening, soothing, protective and rejuvenating properties.  

White tea extract - a very valuable anti-aging ingredient in our products, research has shown its superior ability (even surpassing green tea) to inhibit the enzymes that break down collagen & elastin when applied to the skin.  Scientists at University Hospitals of Cleveland and Case Western Reserve University in the USA have proven that White tea protects the skin from the damaging effects of the sun.  

Pro-Vitamin B5 (D-Panthenol) - a plant derived biologically active vitamin which has unique anti-aging properties due to its ability to deeply hydrate and plump the skin, which counters the drying effects of the elements.  It also actively promotes the healing of damaged tissue, powerfully calms irritation, dermatitis, sunburn and rashes while also giving this cream a very smooth application.

Carrot seed pure essential oil - A generous addition of carrot seed pure essential oil (a highly concentrated oil extracted from carrot seeds) provides this cream with significant antioxidant properties, being exceptionally rich in natural carotene and vitamin A, helping to fortify it against sun damage.  It nourishes, tightens, calms, revitalises and rejuvenates skin.  

Organic Sea Buckthorn oil - promotes natural collagen production, has exceptional anti-oxidant power, is anti-aging, nourishing, healing, restorative and is a rich source of vitamins A, E and K.  Helps to protect against and reduce sun-induced skin damage, improves skin tone, texture and cell turnover.  

Bilberry extract -  In addition to delivering resveratrol and quercetin as anti-aging benefits, this extract is conditioning and strengthening to the skin. Its significant anthocyanoside content strengthens capillaries against the ravages of the sun.

Chamomile extract - its rich content of azulene makes it soothing and calming to skin and capillaries while they are exposed to the elements.  

Rosemary leaf extract - has potent antioxidant properties, helping to preserve the life of our products while also helping to prevent age-related skin damage.

Pure essential oils -  Rose Geranium nourishes, treats and re-hydrates dry and mature skin, Lavender soothes and heals while Vetiver helps to treat skin problems.
